Birthplace: Alexandria, Virginia
Age: 21
Profession: Professional Climber/Student
Height: 5'2

Don't let the pretty face fool you, this girl climbs hard... very hard! Sasha DiGiulian is without doubt one of the best and most exciting female climbers around.

At age 18, she became the youngest woman in the world and the first American woman to climb a 9a graded route. Not only this, but she also won Gold at the World Championships in the same year.

Now sponsored by numerous organisations, most notably Adidas, it is no doubt that Sasha is the future of women's climbing and an inspiration for the next generation of female climbers.

At just 21, Sasha is currently balancing her climbing commitments with her studying at Columbia University, a testament to just how grounded she is.

I look forward to seeing how she progresses as a climber over the next 10 years. It'd be great to see bouldering make it's way into the Olympics and Sasha, along with others such as Anna Stohr, could well be the driving force on the women's side.
